📍 The story Die Geschichte

Anna and Tom walk through the old town. Their first stop is the Prinzipalmarkt with its gabled houses and arcades.

Then they visit the historic town hall. In its Hall of Peace (Friedenssaal), part of the Peace of Westphalia was sworn in 1648 – the peace that ended the Thirty Years' War.

Tom is impressed – and Anna discovers that a little history is the best small talk.
