📍 The story Die Geschichte

Two years after Anna's first day, disaster strikes: a storm floods the new warehouse near Manchester. Three hundred chairs are damaged, and the systems are down.

Brightwell's biggest store opens in four days. The phones don't stop ringing – a local journalist is asking questions, too.

This is Anna's biggest test. Everything she has learned now comes together.

Final task of the course! Imagine a crisis in your company or town (a power cut, a cyber attack, a storm).

  • Write a short statement (5–6 sentences) for clients or the press: what happened, what you are doing, when the next update will come.
  • Then role-play a phone call with an angry client – stay calm, take responsibility and offer a solution.
  • Look back at Units 1–19: which phrases from earlier units can you use here?
